2008-2009 PTSA Meetings

Welcome to the 2008-2009 school year at Dos Pueblos High School. What a summer we have had! Hopefully you made some wonderful family memories. As parents, we are delighted to share this new year with you.

The PTSA is a great organization that wants to be sure that you as parents are informed of the important events going on at DP. Monthly meetings are held so that you can hear directly from our respected principal Mark Swanitz and the Leadership of the Student Body. It is also a place where you can ask questions, get involved, or express concerns. Each month a staff member, department, or program at Dos Pueblos is featured so you can learn more about the opportunities available to your student(s). Our monthly newsletter is the place to obtain important details regarding topics that are pertinent to your student. A notification is sent by email that the newsletter is available on the website or you may receive it by mail. This newsletter is filled with valuable information for your family; it is an important tool used to disseminate pertinent news for you and your student. An updated calendar is always included along with informative articles from our counselors, and updates from our various parent committees such as traffic, safety, and parent education. Our goal is to keep the lines of communication between home and school open so that your family has a wonderful and enriching experience at DP. We have over 50 parents on our board committed to that goal! Our hope is to hear from you, so that we can work together to make DP an even better learning community.
